For Evan, inspiration comes in many forms and shapes. From the dust on his desk to the stardust outside his window, everything is art. It was just about to get dark outside his airplane window, while traveling with his mother to Hong Kong, and they were scribbling on pieces of paper, brainstorming on their next collection. Suddenly, it hit him. The lovely painting that was being drawn right inside the frame in front of him was filled with the light of the night stars. Starstruck! That was it. He would get rose cut stones and turn them around, it would be just as simple as that. The most beautiful of stones had, for him, a new meaning, a new shape and form. He discovered that what can make up a flower can easily be transformed into a star. Isn’t a star a nigh flower? Aren’t we all starstruck with the magic of nature?
